In Technology, we will be focused on developing computer skills that will allow our students to become effective digital learners. Students will learn typing skills, mouse skills, and how to organize files. Also, students will be exposed to the various programs (Word, Excel, Photo Editing) that are used throughout their schooling and career. Most importantly, students will learn about Internet safety and how to identify reliable Internet sources.
This year, in addition to our customary Math Cluster, we will be introducing STEM to our students. STEM, an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math; teaches logical thinking and teaches students to develop solutions to problems. The children will use technology and concepts in math and science to design, plan and construct solutions to challenges.
